A few of our members went on a couple of Christmas rides for the festive
season and Charities. Here's a few pictures of the runs.
Participants were Brent and Rae, Charleen and Clint and Turbo and Wendy.

First one was the Ipswich Christmas Parade where we
decorated our 'Wings with tinsel and toys and paraded down the main street
along with many others. |
Lucille, Goldwing with lots of gold tinsel and gold bears
|
And a big red bow
|
All the kids lining the streets loved the lights, colour and
music provided by the 'wings and we were cheered all the way, despite being
in the middle of a rainstorm. |
Purple Reign and purple tinsel
|
All ready to go. No photos after this as the heavens
opened up for the whole ride.

Next was the Lockyer Valley Ulysses Toy Run. It included
around 260 bikes who gave heaps of toys to the Salvation Army for distribution
to needy kids.
Naturally, Turbo's was the most overloaded bike there. That's daughter
Chantal aboard while Rae and Tegan look on. |
Michael's all done up while Brent dresses up "Purple Reign" |
"Lucille" only done up a little. A Salvo band played Chrissy tunes in the
background. |
