| Mon 10-Mar | URGENT Due to communications issues with power and internet outages resulting from Cyclone Alfred and the subsequent storms, we have a number of committee and general members unable to participate in the general meeting planned for tonight 10/03/25. As a result, the meeting is being rescheduled to next Monday, 17/03/25 at 7:00pm. An invite to the meeting will be circulated to members as soon as possible. | Mon 30-Dec | Sad to report the passing of past long time Member, Lionel Jacobson. AWRA No. 23. Lionel was one of the original AWRA members and only gave up Wing riding when his sight gave trouble. According to Mary he has battled full blindness for the last two years and cancer for the last six months. For me personally, Lionel was one of the nicest blokes you'd ever meet.
